60 Years of Outdoor Learning

watertestingThis fall marks 60 years of our faculty, students, and graduates from the Natural Resources Technician program making a significant impact on both our local, state, and national ecosystems. Over the years our students have led such efforts like the updating of visitor maps at Wisconsin’s state parks and water testing projects for our lakes and rivers, in addition to working with many agencies on a variety of conservation initiatives. Congratulations!

Connecting Students to Opportunities in the Health Care Sector

I had an opportunity today to stop by the Health Care Job Fair at our Appleton Campus, joined by Mary Downs, executive director of the FVTC Foundation, and State Representative Mike Rohrkaste.  What a wonderful array of health care employers represented there, all looking for talent to support their facilities or operations in northeast Wisconsin.
