Congratulating Graduates in Record Numbers

A record number of graduates participated in this spring’s commencement ceremony.

This past Sunday reminded me once again how special our spring commencement ceremony is. Not only is the event a  culmination of another successful academic year, but during our May 14 commencement ceremony there were more than 500 graduates to congratulate – a record number to walk across the stage in our formal cap and gown ceremony!

Unique Welding Sculpture – A Must See!

For the second year in a row, one of our high school welding students from the Wautoma School District as part of a dual credit partnership will be moving on to the National Skills USA competition after placing first in the State event for Welding Sculpture.  Congratulations to senior Olivia Arreola and her FVTC instructor, Jessie Lloyd, for the outstanding effort and wonderful success.  And all the best at the Skills USA nationals!Welding
