Added Boost for Welding and Metal Fabrication

Stopped by to join our partners from Miller Electric Mfg. Company in touring our newly expanded metal fabrication, welding, metallurgy and robotic welding labs at the Appleton campus last week.

One of our students working in a robotic welding cell that morning summed it up best…“Now we can work 100% on learning these skills as opposed to four students sharing a cell.”  There’s now room and capacity in this facility to support more students and better prepare them for high-tech manufacturing careers.  Our staff did a great job with this expansion project!

Great to hear from you, Mike – thanks for staying in touch through this blog! Yes, corn is off the fields after the warmest November on record for Wisconsin.
